Police arrest 56-year-old following spate of vandalism incidents

Police have arrested and charged a 56-year-old man in relation to ten separate reports of vandalism that occurred at a business in Dalkeith.

The man has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

The frontage of Apache Services in Tait Street has been targeted on numerous occasions in the past year.

Vandals initially ripped cables from the wall, while in recent months there have been a number of graffiti incidents.

In a statement, Area Commander Arron Clinkscales has thanked the public for their help in attempting to identify those responsible for the vandalism.
