Irene McArthur missing: Family growing 'increasingly concerned' for 59-year-old Edinburgh woman who vanished just after midnight on Wednesday

The family of a missing 59-year-old woman in Edinburgh are growing 'increasingly concerned' for her welfare after she disappeared just after midnight yesterday.
Irene McArthur was last seen in the Little France area of the city at about 12:10am on Wednesday, February 12th.

Hide AdThe 59-year-old, who lives in the Bingham area, has not been seen since and there are growing concerns for her welfare.
She is descried as being around 5ft tall and of a medium build, with short light coloured hair. At the time she went missing, Irene was wearing a beige jumper and dark trousers.
Inspector Grant McCulloch of Craigmillar police station said: “Along with her family, we are becoming increasingly concerned for Irene’s welfare and are keen to locate her as soon as possible.
“I would urge anyone who may have seen Irene to contact us. Similarly, if Irene is reading this, let us know you are safe and well.”
