A missing 60-year-old man from Edinburgh has been found by police

Niall Sandilands, who was reported missing on Sunday, has been traced safe and well.

Earlier today, officers issued an appeal for the 60-year-old, urging members of the public to help them locate him.

In a social media post, police confirmed Mr Sandilands had been found and wrote: “Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal”.
