Four people were taken to hospital for treatment after a car flipped onto its roof in a crash on an Edinburgh road.

Police officers were alerted to a report of a crash on Seafield Road, Edinburgh, at around 4pm on Monday, June 27.

Emergency services rushed to the scene, and discovered that the car had turned onto its roof.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed that the four occupants of the vehicle were taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment.
