WATCH: Time lapse of haar across Arthur's Seat as cold sea fog spreads across Edinburgh
Diarmid Mogg captured the stunning footage of the thick sea fog at around 9.30pm on Tuesday in front of Prestonfield golf club.
He said: “I was taking a walk through Prestonfield golf course, which is almost deserted at that time of night, and is always a really peaceful place for an evening stroll. It's not far from my flat.

"I’d never seen it before.
"And the perfect silence that you get on the south side of Arthur’s Seat made it quite magical.
"I sat for a while and watched it rolling in, then set my phone up on a ledge to film the time-lapse video.”
Mr Mogg filmed around five minute’s worth of footage which was then created into a 15 second time lapse.

A coastal haar is possible around the Lothian coast on Wednesday, according to weather experts.
On Thursday, the Met Office has said it will be bright and dry in the east and less chance of haar here.
