Inverness Caledonian Thistle manager John Robertson is keen to secure the services of Hearts midfielder Angus Beith.

The 22-year-old, who has been with the Tynecastle club since he was nine, has made two first-team appearances and enjoyed loan spells at Stirling Albion, Stenhousemuir and Stranraer.

A hip problem stalled Beith’s progress at Hearts. However, his performances for the Stair Park men this season after joining them on loan in November could help clinch a move to the Highlands.

Beith scored eight times for the Blues before dropping out of their side in February when a minor operation on his hip was undertaken.

The youngster’s contract with Hearts ends next month and Caley are in discussions over a two-year deal for the player.
