The Mound: Two people taken to hospital after crash between taxi and ambulance

Two passengers were taken to hospital on Monday evening after their taxi was involved in a crash with an ambulance on Edinburgh’s Princes Street.
The collision happened around 7.25 pm at the bottom of the Mound and emergency services were called to the scene.

Police Scotland have reported that they had closed the road for three hours while they investigated the incident, and have said that enquiries are ongoing.
