Young politicians at Commons
More than 300 members of the Scottish and UK Youth Parliaments, including 16-year-old Edinburgh student Terri Miller, were meeting at Westminster to debate topics from public transport to bullying.
Terri, a first-year student at Stevenson College who is in her second term as MSYP for Edinburgh Northern and Leith, said: “I’m really excited about taking part in the House of Commons event. It’s a fantastic opportunity to raise the voices of young people that doesn’t come around very often, especially for people from my area. I’m looking forward to representing the young people of Leith in the heart of London.”
