Cricket: Carlton the masters of Twenty20
To get to the finals day at Poloc’s Shawholm ground, Carlton had won the regional Masterton event with a final defeat of Watsonians at Grange Loan a few weeks back.
They took that form into their national semi-final with fellow Cricket Scotland Eastern Premier Division outfit Arbroath.

In the other semi, West region winners East Kilbride beat Kelso. Missing Mommsen in the final, Carlton made 152-8 from their 20 overs.
